JACKSON ELECTRONICS ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Jackson Electronics, LLC. is dedicated to providing products of the highest quality and craftsmanship.
Jackson Electronics, LLC. (“JE LLC”) warrants this hardware product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. (“Warranty Period”)
This warranty covers the original purchaser of the product, who must reside in the United States, Puerto Rico, or Canada.
This warranty DOES NOT cover the following:
• Damage occurring during shipment of the product to JE LLC for repair. (claims must be presented to the carrier)
• Damage caused by accident, abuse, negligence, misuse, improper operation or failure to follow instructions contained in the Owner’s Manual.
• Damage caused by act of God, including without limitation, earthquake, fire, flood, storms or other acts of God.
• Any cost or expense related to the removal or reinstallation of the product.
• Service performed by an unauthorized person, company or association.
• Any product that has the serial number defaced, altered, or removed.
• Any product that has been adjusted, altered or modified without JE LLC’s consent.
• Any product not purchased from an Authorized JE LLC Dealer.
If a defect arises and a valid claim is received by JE LLC within the warranty period, at its option, JE LLC will (1) repair the product at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or (3) refund the purchase price of the product.
If a defect arises and a valid claim is received by JE LLC after the first one hundred and eighty (180) days of the Warranty Period, a shipping and handling charge will apply to any repair or exchange undertaken by JE LLC.
JE LLC warrants replacement products or parts provided under this warranty against defects in material and workmanship from the date of the replacement or repair for ninety (90) days or for the remaining portion of the original product’s warranty, whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes the property of JE LLC. When a refund is given, your product becomes JE LLC’s property.
You are responsible for delivery of the product to JE LLC or an authorized JE LLC Service Center and for payment of any initial shipping charges. If the repairs are covered by the warranty, and if the product was shipped to JE LLC or an Authorized JE LLC Service Center, JE LLC will pay the return shipping charges. You should obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number, include a detailed description of the problem(s) for which the service is required, supply your proof of purchase for the product, and package the product securely to avoid damage during shipment.
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
This Limited Warranty applies only to product manufactured by or for JE LLC that can be identified by the “JE LLC” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to it. This Limited Warranty DOES NOT apply to any non-JE LLC hardware or software product, even if packaged or sold with the JE LLC product.
JE LLC IS NOT liable for any damage to or loss of any programs, data, or other information stored on any media contained within the JE LLC product, or any non-JE LLC product or part not covered by this warranty. Recovery or reinstallation of programs, data or other information is not covered under this Limited Warranty.
JE LLC EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE PRODUCT. THE TERM “INCIDENTAL DAMAGES” REFERS TO EXPENSES OF REMOVING OR UNINSTALLING THE PRODUCT, TRANSPORTING THE PRODUCT TO JE LLC OR A JE LLC AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER, LOSS OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER’S TIME, LOSS OF THE USE OF THE PRODUCT, BUS FARES, CAR RENTALS OR OTHER EXPENSES RELATED TO THE CARE AND CUSTODY OF THE PRODUCT. THE TERM “CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES” REFERS TO THE COST OF REPAIRING OR REPLACING OTHER PROPERTY WHICH IS DAMAGED WHEN THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY. THE REMEDIES PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS.
FOR CONSUMERS WHO HAVE THE BENEFIT OF CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS OR REGULATIONS IN THEIR STATE OR PROVINCE OF PURCHASE OR, IF DIFERENT, RESIDENCE, THE BENEFIT CONFERRED BY THIS WARRANTY ARE IN ADDITION TO ALL RIGHTS AND REMEDIES CONVEYED BY SUCH CONSUMER PROTECTIONN LAWS AND REGULATIONS. TO THE EXTENT THAT LIABILITY UNDER SUCH CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS AND REGULATIONS MAY BE LIMITED, JE LLC’S LIABILITY IS LIMITED, AT THE SOLE OPTION TO REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OF THE PRODUCT OR SUPPLY OF THE REPAIR SERVICES AGAIN.
